Earlier this month, we had our annual company offsite. Being a remote company with team members scattered across the globe we don’t get to meet as often as we’d like. The offsite provides a way for us to catch up and meet each other in person. This was the third year we were doing it, and we added a new activity that I personally liked a lot: Lightning Talks! As part of this, people could sign up for a 5-minute talk on absolutely anything.

I used to write silly little poems when I was in school. Wanted to save them somewhere so they don’t get lost. :) Some of them are pretty cringe, proceed with caution xD Just A Wall I am standing here, But still in no ones notice. I am in the pic, But out of focus. I am the one, They lean upon. But I am also the one, They spit on.

I had to travel to Ernakulam for some work earlier this month, and this was going to be my first time in Kerala. Coincidentally, around the same time, a tweet showing photos of Munnar popped up on my timeline. I took that as a sign from the universe to extend my stay there and plan a workation around it. While I ultimately wasn’t able to see the sunrise at Kollukumalai because I fell sick the night before I had plans to go (big bummer, I know), but I still had a lot of fun during my time there.
